Mysterious Spray

Mysterious Spray is a pre-Hardmode accessory that is dropped by the Defiled Amalgamation in Master Mode. It inversely increases the player's life regeneration as their current life decreases. Mysterious Spray applies a unique visual effect on the player depending on their current health.

- Mysterious Spray's regeneration rate is inversely logarithmic to the player's current health.
- Mysterious Spray has a 1-second ramp up period after taking damage.

Tips

- It is still possible to die with Mysterious Spray and its variants, by recieving quick bursts of damage similar to what it takes to slay a regenerating Defiled enemy.

Trivia

- Mysterious Spray was once an Expert Mode exclusive item rather than its current Master-exclusivity. It was moved to Master after the developers of Origins playtested it in Master Mode and felt it was more balanced that way (at the time Mysterious Spray was impossible to get in any difficulty that wasn't Expert).
