Debuffs
Debuffs are negative status effects inflicted on a player or enemy in combat, through items or from the environment. Active debuffs are shown as icons below the hotbar, along with their remaining durations/severities. Debuffs are usually negative or malign effects, in contrast with buffs, over which the player has much more control.
Debuff Resistances and Vulnerabilities
Origins adds enemies that have recieved resistances and vulnerabilities to specific debuffs in modded or vanilla. Some of these include pre-existing enemies in vanilla as well. Currently, the only set of enemies that express these qualities are enemies found in the evil biomes. The details of these resistances and vulnerabilities are shown below.
Corrupt enemies
All Corrupt enemies are affected accordingly:
+4 HP/s from Poisoned
+7 HP/s from Shadowflame
+36 HP/s from Cursed Inferno
-4 HP/s from On Fire!
-15 HP/s from Hellfire
Crimson enemies
All Crimson enemies are affected accordingly:
+20 defense from Ichor
-4 HP/s from On Fire!
-5 HP/s from Poisoned
-10 HP/s from Acid Venom
-15 HP/s from Hellfire
Defiled enemies
All Defiled enemies are affected accordingly:
+4 HP/s from On Fire!
+6 HP/s from Poisoned
+15 HP/s from Hellfire
+15 HP/s from Shadowflame
+24 HP/s from Cursed Inferno
-4 HP/s from Frostburn
-4 HP/s from Frostburn
-16 HP/s from Frostbite
Riven enemies
All Riven enemies are affected accordingly:
+2 HP/s from Poisoned
+4 HP/s from On Fire!
+10 HP/s from Shadowflame
+12 HP/s from Cursed Inferno
+15 HP/s from Hellfire
-12 HP/s from Frostburn
-24 HP/s from Frostbite

- All of the world evil enemies receive even more damage from the Dryad's Bane.
